A STORY OF LOVE AND LOSS

In memory of Yael Leibushor

A story of love and loss - the bracelet in Yael's memory

A special group of women, who call themselves the "Knights of the Round Table," has forged a deep and courageous friendship over the years. Eight women, some of them childhood friends and some of them joined in surprising ways of life, together created another family, a family that chooses. They shared moments of happiness alongside sadness, joint trips with their children, and lots of quality time.
On the seventh of October, the beloved Yael Leibushor, daughter of Gili and Hagi, was taken from the group. Yael, an observer who served at the Nahal-Oz outpost was murdered in the terrorists' raid on the outpost. She reported in real time and with courage on the horrifying events, until the connection was cut and the screens went dark.
The knights, who love the special and beautiful Yael so much, wanted to commemorate her meaningfully. They contacted me, with a request to design a piece of jewelry that would reflect Yael and their endless connection to her. Together with them, we created an exciting and delicate bracelet decorated with an element in the shape of a "Purple Kadan" flower - the desert flower that Yael loved so much, and purple amethyst beads.
The uniqueness lies in the fact that each knight received a slightly different variation of the bracelet, personalized to her and her memories with Yael. you need what connects everyone. Everyone has their own memory, their sorrow, and their path."
Along with the bracelet, each received a card with a picture of the Purple Kadan and the inscription, "If there is love in me, she will say it quietly." This deep and silent love continues to accompany the knights and Yael's family every step of the way.
This bracelet is much more than a beautiful piece of jewelry. It is a symbol of true friendship, the memory of a fantastic girl who was taken prematurely, and the power of love that continues to beat even beyond life itself. It connects eight brave women who continue to fight daily, support, and maintain the wonderful bond forged between them.
It is a combined story of painful loss and love larger than life. A story that reminds us of the importance of true friendship and the beauty of immortalizing our loved ones in unique and meaningful ways. Because only in this way, through sweet memories and gentle symbols, we can always carry our loved ones in our hearts.
May the memory of Yael be blessed, and may thousands more purple flowers bloom along the path of the brave Knights of the Round Table.
